What is the Alaska Property 70 Hour 7 Day Rule?
The Alaska Property 70 Hour 7 Day rule applies to Property Carrying Vehicles operating under Title 49 of the United States Code of Federal Regulations Section 395.1(h)(1) where the employing carrier does not operate commercial motor vehicles every day of the week.
The USA Property 70 Hour 7 Day rules are:

A truck driver operating within the Alaska Property 70 Hour 7 Day rule cannot work more than 70 hours in a 7 consecutive day period.

A truck driver operating within the Alaska Property 70 Hour 7 Day rule cannot work no more than 20 hours following 10 consecutive hours off duty.

A truck driver operating within the Alaska Property 70 Hour 7 Day rule cannot drive more than 15 hours following 10 consecutive hours off duty.

​A truck driver operating within the Alaska Property 70 Hour 7 Day rule must drive only during a 20 hour period after coming on duty following 10 consecutive hours off duty.
